Polling the LIMS database for samples to be run, listing the queue, and reducing user interaction to a click to run sample. The proper instrument, method, and injection volume selections are automatic and the user simply clicks start. The sample is run, analyzed, and results pushed back into the LIMS system.
Other interfaces are written to generate sample ID's for specific sampling points at specific times of the day. In all cases, the user needs only use the simple interface to run samples. EZChrom Elite runs in the background. With possible bar code generation, this substantially increases laboratory productivity from the beginning to the end of the sample chain.
Interfaces may be written in C++, VB, and even HTML for control via the intranet/internet.

Built-in Intelligence
By combining our System Suitability option with SmartSequence technology, any peak, run, or group of runs that fall outside preset parameters can trigger an automated alert. In response, EZChrom Elite can switch valves, jump to different methods, sound alarms, send e-mail alerts, start a new sequence, and/or perform a host of other functions. Any desired customer functions are easily accomplished either within the standard interface, or with tailored programming.

Positioned for the medium to large scale chromatography operation, EZChrom Elite Client/Server provides all the benefits of a modern chromatography data system platform with special features unique to the client/server environment.

Through Agilent's exclusive Instrument Controller (AIC), a revolutionary new intelligent network appliance, all chromatographs on the client/server network are accessible from any authorized client station. Data from any instrument can be accessed and safely shared by users anywhere on the network, increasing overall laboratory efficiency. Position PC workstations where you choose - next to a group of instruments to provide local control, or access systems remotely from a PC in your desk area. By working in a client/server environment, each authenticated client has complete access to instruments on the network, enabling real time monitoring and real time control of each instrument.
